The intention of The Art of Original Thinking – The Making of a Thought Leader by Jan Phillips is to inspire thought leaders who are willing to be visible, vocal agents of evolutionary thinking for the global good. Personally, I couldn’t put the book down, and I predict you will be as encouraged as I to continue combining visionary thought leadership with responsible business practices.

Truly an inspiration! KEN BLANCHARD Coauthor of The One-Minute Manager® and The Secret

If we are to overcome the problems that threaten our well-being and our very survival on this planet, we need a quantum leap in the condition of human consciousness. Thought leaders are those who pioneer and catalyze this evolution until it creates a critical mass that can tip current breakdown-oriented trends into a breakthrough direction. Jan Phillips provides a precious guidebook helping all of us to become thought leaders – and thus healers and redeemers of the planet. ERVIN LASZLO, PH.D.,Nobel Peace Prize nominee in 2004; Founder and Director of the General Evolution Research Group

With the passing of Peter F. Drucker, the consummate thought leader, we all need to read Jan Phillips’ book and adopt as our own her challenge to free ourselves from illusions and create a better life and business. KEN SHELTON, CHAIRMAN AND EDITOR-IN-CHIEF Executive Excellence Publishing

Is there anything quite so appropriate to have on Free2Thee than a free complete 7hr audiobook on how businesses can profit more from giving things away than selling them? No. Actually it’s really appropriate. We hope you enjoy this free audiobook.

The New York Times best-selling author heralds the future of business in Free. In his revolutionary best seller, The Long Tail, Chris Anderson demonstrated how the online marketplace creates niche markets, allowing products and consumers to connect in a way that has never been possible before. Now, in Free, he makes the compelling case that, in many instances, businesses can profit more from giving things away than they can by charging for them.

Far more than a promotional gimmick, Free is a business strategy that may well be essential to a company’s survival. The costs associated with the growing online economy are trending toward zero at an incredible rate. Never in the course of human history have the primary inputs to an industrial economy fallen in price so fast and for so long. Just think that in 1961 a single transistor cost $10; now Intel’s latest chip has two billion transistors and sells for $300 (or 0.000015 cents per transistor – effectively too cheap to price). The traditional economics of scarcity just don’t apply to bandwidth, processing power, and hard-drive storage.

Yet this is just one engine behind the new Free, a reality that goes beyond a marketing gimmick or a cross-subsidy. Anderson also points to the growth of the reputation economy; explains different models for unleashing the power of Free; and shows how to compete when your competitors are giving away what you’re trying to sell.

In Free, Chris Anderson explores this radical idea for the new global economy and demonstrates how this revolutionary price can be harnessed for the benefit of consumers and businesses alike.

Rosemary – Aspiring coach & extraordinary leader

Will Help You to Become a Better Person, June 05, 2007
Reviewer: veganmark

Robin Sharma, bestselling author and businessman, puts it all down in this recording of Extraordinary Leadership. The man knows what he’s talking about. He started out from the ground floor just like Fred Smith, Jeff Bezos, Sam Walton, and many others. Robin is truly a server of men. He gets his point across without being “in your face” and tells you, from personal example, what will aid you in becoming a good person and a lover of humanity. He has a very calming influence that comes across in his voice and his talk is sprinkled with charming stories of people who have lived a life of Extraordinary Leadership. This is one audio recording that you will listen to again, and again, and again until you start doing what others have done. Funny thing is that when you start making even the slightest change to become an Extraordinary Leader, people will notice and you will feel good about yourself. Thank you Robin Sharma for bringing all of your wisdom and knowledge to us. Many will benefit from this information. I know I have.
